Full Day Workshop

£325.00

During this full day workshop (9am to 5pm) at our studio in Totnes, Devon, you will gain a thorough introduction to techniques for glass fusing with glass enamel powders.

You will make your own large wall hanging up to 60cm x 30cm, or it can be a curved and freestanding panel. We will fire this for you overnight, ready for collection the next day.

Whether you already work in glass, or are a complete novice, Steve will tailor your tuition accordingly.

Once you have booked we will encourage you to think about a design that you would like to create in your panel, and you’ll be able to send your thoughts and ideas through to Steve ahead of the day so that he can check that your ideas will be achievable. It might be an abstract design or something more pictorial - we can make suggestions too if you are stuck for inspiration.

The all-inclusive cost covers your tuition, all materials that you will be using, a lovely pub lunch and other refreshments, the main item you make to take home, fixings with which to hang it, and some smaller pieces too! For more details please see our FAQs.

Choose from the dates below to book. Our dates for the second half of 2024 will be published in the Spring.

If you wish to give a place to someone as a gift and would like them to be able to choose their preferred date this is no problem at all – just select Gift Voucher (at the bottom of the dates list). This will be valid for 12 months. We’ll email the voucher to you, and an information sheet to go with it.

Steve is so helpful and exceptionally patient. It was a fabulous day and Steve encouraged us to make as many things in the time that we had. I had a very special project which Steve helped me to create and I am absolutely thrilled with the result. I would recommend this course for anybody who is interested in doing something a little bit different from the usual craft courses. I did the evening taster class before Christmas which left me wanting to do more. Thank you Steve, my Mum was thrilled with her ‘special’ panel.
